Cory is currently the only attorney appointed by the California State Bar to the Commission for Admiralty and Maritime matters in Northern California and is an Admiralty Specialist.

Since 2000, Cory has been an Adjunct Professor of Law at the University of California, Hastings School of Law, and teaches a 3 unit course once a year in all Admiralty and Maritime subjects; including Longshore and Harbor Workers Compensation Act.
